I hadn't gotten donuts for about 20 years but had a hankering for some Boston Cremes but when I called to see when they closed i didn't think to ask her if she had any Boston Cremes because it was close to closing time and there was a very slim selection available when I got there!!! But the little lady that was working there all by herself was so nice that it made up for the slim selection and I went ahead and purchased half a dozen donuts and they were just as good as Shipley's Donuts I remember from 20 years ago AND I got my military discount!!! Keep doing what you're doing Shipley's!!!
Shipleys is my go to and I was so excited to see one in boerne. Purchased a dozen. I’m not sure how’s these donuts have Shipley’s name attached, but they are nothing like any Shipleys I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot. I ended up throwing them away. I wish this place would learn how to do donuts exactly like Shipleys so that I can visit again. The tast, texture and size are all off, not to mention, walking into a donut shop, your eyes are usually filled with a huge selection. This place looks like they don’t make hardly any.

The best donuts and kolaches! Haven’t had them in about 3 years after moving out of Boerne, but I always reminisce on the tasty pastries and savory kolaches!! So yummy! Hope I can stop by next time in Boerne :)

Did ownership change? A dozen donuts not one was presentable nor at Shipley standards . Kolaches were complete grizzle and the “glazed” donuts were runny and barely there. The filled donuts may have had an attempt at filling but there was a sliver of it and or the donut we received was smashed and squished outside of it .

Walk in at 8:30am and they hardly have any selection available. The lady upfront looks like she’s miserable still yawning. Then the donuts were hard as a rock like they were a day old! We will never go there again and we will support Snowflakes in Boerne.
