a kind neighbor bought a buttermilk chess pie over to my uncle’s house. little did they know, i’ve wanted to try chess pie for as long as i can remember. it was so good and brought us a lot of comfort during a very difficult time. would love to visit the store next time i’m visiting family!

I’m firmly convinced that pie is the superior dessert. Cake is fine if you’re at a birthday party and being polite, but pie has integrity. It knows what it is. Fruit, custard, chocolate, flaky crust, no unnecessary frosting theatrics.
So a business devoted entirely to pie already feels like a moral good.
Tootie Pie Company absolutely delivers. We tried the buttermilk chess pie (outstanding), the chocolate pie (dangerous), and the apple pie (the kind that reminds you why apple pie became a phrase in the first place). Every bite was legit.
It’s about a 30-minute drive from our house, which in pie math is basically nothing. Totally worth it. I’m genuinely glad this place exists, and we will 100% be back, likely with less self-control.

Pies we got here for Christmas were just ok. The service could definitely use an overhaul. Not only were we not even greeted but even when completing the purchase not even acknowledged except for instructions of where to put the card. We’re pretty easy going but the experience was so unpleasant it almost felt like our pie was bitter. Do not recommend or will be coming back

We bought apple, pecan and chocolate pies for Christmas. They were all flavorful and to our liking, both filling and crust. Would definitely be coming back! My husband's only qualm was that the lady behind the counter gave him a mean look 😆

I’ve known Tootie pies in Boerne for years . I purchased one Cherry pie and one Chicken Pot pie to the tune of a total of $75.00 . I felt that was a bit expensive. The cherry pie was good but not sure $30.00 worth of good. The chicken pot pie was decent and had lots of veggies but quite dry and no gravy in it at all. I don’t feel it was worth the $45.00 price tag. For me too pricey for what I got.

The pie crust was doughy and not flakey. The Apple Pie filling was hunks of apple and some kind of gelatinous apple sauce mix.

The sweet lady that waited on me was great and funny. The pies were delicious. Such a cute shop. We will be coming back. Great job.

Had my first Tootie Pie and was really impressed. My homemade pies are delicious but sooo much work and take 2 days to make. Tooties crust was stellar and the combination of sour cherries with sweetness was perfect! I also love supporting locally owned. Will have to try another flavor next time.

I bought 2 of the 8” pies. I got the buttermilk chess and the chocolate. I’ve bought Tootie Pies from their inception. The Buttermilk Chess was always a favorite. This pie today has NO flavor. I was so disappointed. If customers could have had the originals they would have loved them. I don’t mind paying higher prices for a quality product. Won’t be buying these pies again?
