We had two slices of the 5 pound apple pie that was raved about. It was VERY disappointing. Just picture a thick, flavorless crust. Inside the pie were slices of apples with layers of applesauce!!! This was at the Boerne location. Felt cheated out of flavor and had a big commercially made look.

Kristian was super helpful and nice. I went here to pick up a Too Good to Go order which I was very happy with. Once I was in there I realized this is the place my husbands favorite BBQ restaurant gets their pie. Last time we were there my husband gushed about the pecan pie. As a matter of fact as soon as I got home he cut a piece before I could get a picture. I will say I do feel like the pies are pretty expensive but they are delicious. The shop is a decent size. It's clean and organized. I'll definitely be back.

I was very excited about all the flavors in pies this place had in a flyer I saw. Then today I finally had a chance to stop by and also found out that they have cakes, too.They have some really unique flavors of deserts - Whiskey Pecan, Pumpkin Caramel Latte, Lemon Vodka Cheesecake, etc.The pies run in the mid-twenties, and some cakes in the forties. It's better to check out the website for current pricing. But there are some deals like 3 mini pies so you can taste some different selections at a reasonable price. And today we got two cake slices at $5 each.The carrot cake was more frosting than cake. I didn't taste any nuts in it. And maybe because it wasn't suppose to have any. I'm not recommending it. It was blah.The holiday special was the Pumpkin Caramel Latte cake . It is seasonal. It looked awfully good with some caramel stripping on it. I found the cake to not be spectacular, but title certainly did seem promising.The gentleman waiting on me was very knowledgeable, nice and helpful. The bakery was clean and had lots of cakes and pies. Well stocked and gave people opportunity to look at them.I recommend a tasting before a full cake/pie purchase. I am glad I bought a slice vs. a full cake, I would have been very disappointed if I had gotten a full cake/pie.

Was not aware that the triple berry pie did not have crust on the top but has like a crumble type. Had I known I would have gotten the blueberry or cherry which I find after the fact has a full crust. Price was very high 43.00 for a single pie. That’s a lot for a pie I will not eat.

I really wanted to like this place. Maybe it's hard to make crust in bulk but the crust was not good. It wasn't flaky at all. I bake pies all the time and know a good crust when I taste one. The filling in the pie we bought was ok but nothing special. For $26 for a small pie, I expect something special. If you can't bake, then maybe it's ok to buy here but if you can bake, save your money.
Tootie pie..more like tiny pie. For the low low price of $29 you can have a pie that'll feed two people at most. Dumpy presentation and poor customer service. Don't waste your time or money on this place. Do better!

Tootie Pie is truly an amazing addition to our Dripping Springs community! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! They have a HUGE variety of deserts and have quiches and chicken pot pie! I have tried several and they do not disappoint! You can pick them up and freeze them! Such a delicious, amazing addition to our “village!” They found out it was my birthday and celebrated ME! The owners and staff made me feel like family!

What's better than pie??? Absolutely nothing. So excited to learn Boerne has a pie shop. Why is pie so hard to find?! It's a dying art, IMO and I'm glad Tootie Pie is still cranking them out. I stopped in today, May the Fourth be with you! for their sliced pie special for today only. I paid $4 per slice (I know, still kinda pricey) and chose a Buttermilk Chess, Apple Pie and Apple Crumb. I ate the Apple Pie right away, all pies are chilled and this one is no exception. I didn't have a microwave handy, so I ate it as is. There was some liquid gathered at the bottom of the plastic container which was a bit off-putting. The texture is also strange. Not at all liek apple pie I'm used to. The taste is nice and sweet. The smell of the shop also surprised me. It didn't smell like a sweet shop, but rather like a commercial refrigerator stuffed with a variety of foods. Bummer. My friend tells me it's because they don't make the pies there, but baked or prepared at a nearby location and brought in. There were refrigerators that line one side of the small shop with an assortment of boxed pies. They weren't arranged very nicely. I'd fix that as aesthetics is important. At least to me. You certainly don't have to agree. But people weren't exactly lining up at this spot either. Any way, overall, I'm happy with my purchases.

Was told this is the best Apple pie on the planet. Sadly, it was far from ECM a decent apple pie. The crust is not flaky and is was too doughy. The filling was mush and way too few actual apples. Also no flavor other than sugar, no spice, no nothing. Was just simply not a decent/good apple pie.
