Wonderful authentic food. One of the first places I’ve found that makes spaghetti carbonara the authentic Italian way!

The entrees we ordered had missing items. The server said they were out of certain ingredients. It was extremely cold in the restaurant. The server said that the heater wasn't working. Our bottle of sparkling wine was served at room temperature, and we had to put ice in our wine glasses to chill it.

Solid food but small portions. Our waiter was nice however a long wait for our food. We ordered the escargot which was good but small and a long wait made it feel worse. The live singer was a nice touch and his voice really fit the vibe of the place. It was 65$ for two people without tip.

If you happen to love this place but you unfortunately are handicapped at the moment and can’t make it in to dine… DO NOT COUNT ON THEM FOR A NICE DINNER …. As even if you are a regular they will refuse to prepare your order as a “to-go order” this is very unfortunate as it was my plan for my wife’s birthday and they just absolutely refuse to accommodate. Very disappointing to say the least

My husband and I celebrated our very first wedding anniversary this past weekend…and decided to do so in Boerne. And after a lot of research, we chose Valeria as the restaurant to celebrate our first wedding anniversary dinner. There are several nice places in Boerne, but we chose Valeria because they offered oysters, which we absolutely love. We were so excited about this dinner, and reserved our table. We even put in comments that it was our anniversary.Upon arrival, no one was at the front. After a few minutes of waiting, a young guy came up and said “Do you have a reservation?” We told him we did, and told him our names. He seated us, but said nothing more. After seating us, he got our silverware and brought us water. We told him it was our first wedding anniversary, and he didn’t say anything for a minute…and then finally said “Oh. That’s cool.” And then disappeared. A young girl came a few minutes later to take our drink orders. Nobody ever introduced themselves to us, or seemed to care that we’d chosen this spot to celebrate this big milestone in our lives. It was very disappointing. We ordered a dozen raw oysters, and the girl informed us that she didn’t believe there was enough to make a dozen. She came back awhile later to give us our drinks and let us know they did have oysters. The oysters were NOT worth the $42 we paid. They were the tiniest oysters we’ve ever had, and were only given a little bowl of cocktail sauce…and limes?? Usually, they come with lemon, horseradish, cocktail, and crackers. We order them everywhere. This was the first time they came with just cocktail sauce. We asked about other condiments or crackers - and they didn’t offer it. We used our tiny fork to scrape off the teeniest bits of oyster bites from these little oyster shells. It was at this point that we decided to leave. In the meantime - we had looked at the menu to decide on a main course. We’d looked at their menu online multiple times, and were surprised to see that the menu at the location was very different. It had far less options, and nothing stood out to us.Between the service, the disappointment of the oysters, the fact that no one seemed to care that we were celebrating an important day, and the lack of options on the menu versus what we’d seen online - we decided to leave. We paid for our drinks, oysters, and tip…and left. The ONLY reason this place gets two stars on atmosphere is because they had a wonderful live singer there who we LOVED. He was the best part of the whole experience! We won’t be back. It was just an overall disappointment and such a disheartening experience.

Start off table was not ready when we arrived. Service was very slow and did not notify us when we we’re ordering what they sold out of certain items. He was more worried about the other tables that we never had time to order dessert. Made all us made especially the birthday boy at the table.

Enjoyed a delicious date night dinner here with my husband last week. We started with the caprese salad and some bread which was delicious. I had the chicken parmigiana which was crispy and the sauce had great flavor. My husband had the veal marsala which was amazing as well. We finished with a shared tiramisu which was so yummy!

We went to celebrate a birthday. Even though the restaurant was almost empty at dinner time on a Saturday, they sat us by the kitchen and we could hear the servers chatting and laughing the whole time. It was hard to have a good conversation. Every time the server would pour our water, she would spill all over the floor and table. We got Belgian fries for the appetizer and they were amazing with the truffle sauce and curry mayo. My wife's spaghetti with meatballs and my penne alla vodka were just okay. We probably won't be back to pay $80+ for a mediocre experience.

I had the spicy linguini which was terrific even though it was spaghetti but the seafood in it was great especially the calamari. It was definitely expensive at $48 considering it doesn't come with bread, soup or salad. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the flavors but it would have been nice to get sourdough, lol.

My niece had her wedding rehearsal dinner here. The staff was so attentive, the food was so delicious and was served promptly. I live in San Antonio and will gladly drive to eat here again. Laura the manager was awesome!
