Great place to eat and have a drink! I've been there multiple times. Jaci is the best at her job and couldn't be happier.

This is the second time I ordered from them in the past month the first order they forgot the tea, the second order they forgot the chips that are supposed to come with the avocado dip we don't even prefer avocado dip we always add an order of queso so basically we're spending $8 for a bag of chips a small bag at that and sometimes the chips are stale hard not fresh, and they also forgot the ranch dip this time that comes with the wings and we ordered the biggest order of wings they have the 16 piece and they completely left out the ranch which makes the whole wing order what it's supposed to be, dipping food. We also paid over $70 both times. This is unacceptable because the food was delivered over 30 minutes ago and I've had to call them twice I've had to contact doordash I've had to click through the app trying to find the right area to go to, reviewing the order details, reviewing whether it was supposed to come with it or not, examining the cost, taking pictures of the dip that we did get, just to get a refund of less than $2.50 for 30 minutes of work while my food sits here under the fan getting cold. this is unacceptable if you want to be in business then do your business like you advertise it and stop messing up

Went on a Sunday night and had the worst service! Ordered queso and 2 different waitresses never brought it. We had to ask 4 times total and it came 10 minutes after the meal arrived. They were polite but never apologized. The food is decent but not good enough to go back when The Plaza is in the same town. Just go there.

Absolutely awful service. Ordered dinner here for the family. Green enchilada plate, red enchilada plate, queso flammado, asada fries, and an asada quesadilla. He asks if i want the full plate or just the quesadilla and i told him just the quesadilla with asada. I bring the food home and all there is is 2 pieces of cheese quesadilla. I go back up there and they tell me i ordered a la carte and thats how it comes thats what i ordered. So i came back home brought up the cheese quesadillas told them whether he put in the order wrong or what this is not what i ordered. I ordered a full asada quesadilla. And they brought me back 2 little pieces of asada quesadilla. An hour wasted. Family done with dinner before i get back to have a quarter of a meal. Awful service. Great way to lose a customer. Wont be back.

Los Agaves Jalisco’s Grill & Cantina – A Miss for a South Texas Native. Let me start by saying—I had high hopes. Walking into Los Agaves Jalisco’s Grill & Cantina in Borger, TX, I was ready for some authentic Mexican flavors, the kind that make you close your eyes and hum after every bite. You know, the real deal. Unfortunately, what I got was more “concession stand” than “abuelita’s kitchen.”

First off, the nachos. Now, if you grew up in South Texas like I did, you know nachos aren’t just a pile of chips with melted goop on top. They’re supposed to be built on freshly fried corn tortillas, smothered in real, melty cheese, and packed with bold, home-cooked flavor. Instead, what I got was something that felt like it came out of a high school football stadium—store-bought chips, sparse beans that had no soul, and that bright yellow nacho cheese straight out of a pump.

The enchiladas? They were… fine. Just fine. Nothing that made me want to wave the Mexican flag in celebration. I mean, if you’re gonna call yourself Jalisco’s Grill & Cantina, I expect something that tastes like Jalisco, not something that makes me feel like I should’ve just hit up Taco Bell and saved some gas money.

Now, I’ll give them this—the atmosphere was solid. The place looked nice, and my waitress was on point—attentive, friendly, no complaints there. They also had a pretty decent bar setup, which might be worth another visit just to see if the margaritas redeem the experience. Maybe if I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll try another dish.

But overall? I guess I’m just spoiled from growing up in South Texas, where real Mexican food isn’t just food—it’s an experience. If you’re used to the real stuff, you might walk away disappointed like I did.

Would I go back? Maybe—for a drink. But if I want real Mexican food, I’ll be heading somewhere else.

We dined here a couple of times since we had a large group working around the area.

The first time I ordered enchiladas and they were ok.

The second time I ordered a platter that had chicken, steak and shrimp. That was good.

I would say costumer service needs to improve and the atmosphere needs an update. Very awkward establishment.

Road trippin' from CO to OK and stopped for gas & realized it was getting late & I was hungry. Did not want fast food & searched for something local to try. What a great choice I made! The chips & queso were really very good with a nice little kick, but not hot, just a touch of heat to catch your attention & make your beer taste better (only had 1!). I tried the taco salad & hubs got ? something that had their shredded chicken in it. If I had to complain, the taco salad needs more salad, kinda heavy on the meat & I had wanted more veg. I forget what hubs got, but it had the shredded chicken in it & their shredded chicken is delicious! I got beef mince & shredded chicken in my taco salads & I should've just had the chicken cuz it is SO good! The salad bowls were perfectly crisp & the oil was fresh, which is a big deal for me. I make this trip quite a lot & will def go back to try more of their menu. Nearby table had beef fajitas & they looked & smelled yummy. Give it a try, if only to have that chicken, I swear!

How are you supposed to order anything if they don't answer the phone? So if they run their business this way, the food probably sucks
