Always a favorite when we come to town. The people are friendly. Food is fantastic. Love the burritos and Rellenos. Chips and Salsa hits the spot. Quick service. Restaurant is clean.
The food is always good here. The only chile relleno of its kind around the area. The staff is always friendly and fast. The building is old and has mechanical issues like air conditioning but it doesn't take away from good food and good service. Thats a work in progress.
The Village Kids was the original name of "Lorene's". After Lorene retired, and after insistence from the public, Lorene's children brought back the restaurant, featuring all of your old favorites! If you're in town and interested in the best queso, chile rellenos, and smothered burritos, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! It's a small town diner, with incredibly friendly staff. You'll never have to wait long for your meal, either.
