Takes forever, doesn’t have apple pay, and how do you not have mozzarella sticks? Ruined my whole day!

Do not let your kids work here until Stacy is gone. She is the absolute worst manager there is. She didn't have the audacity to fire my son because he had doctors notes when sick. She is the worst when it comes to scheduling hours for kids. If Tony isn't promoted and takes Stacy's place you won't have workers. But she can't keep employees for a reason instead of having the skills as a manager to fire kids she just leaves them off the schedule so they will quit. Smart since there was no legit reason to fire my son when we produce notes everytime even though we don't have to. The kid never got sick either until working at this facility everytime we turned around he was sick with something new, but the store probably needs to be sanitized better or even cleaned. I'm pretty certain Stacy lied on paperwork about my sons age to promote him to assistant manager. That's a wonderful example to teach kids right there. At 16 he was promoted to an assistant manager because he was looking for work elsewhere because of how his manager treated him. Again, if you read most of the manager complaints in Google, you should see a common denominator, but she is still around so again this store could care less about its employees other than Stacy. Tony should have taken her spot long time ago but hasn't and yet again you can't keep employees. My favorite story was the evening my son was working with one car hop and the car hop quit right there and he was alone just him and the cool. He ended up calling me because his own manager cough cough Stacy didn't even pick up the phone when he called. So we told him what we would do if it was us. He did exactly that and she finally called him back after we had spoke with him. Instead of closing the doors and telling people to leave he stayed. Closed the stalls and just did drive thru until someone showed up to help. I told him be honest with people your alone and can't get a hold of your manager so this is what you are doing at this time. People will be understanding with honesty than an excuse.

My chicken tender tasted lake burned oil. If you go just get the meat burgers anything going in that oil will taste nasty.

It wasn't horrible, however it was a little hard to get proper service. Staff did not want to split a shake for us, and didn't mix our shake too well. The whole top was concentrated and the bottom was just vanilla ice cream. When I asked for at least another straw and cup to split it myself they said they would, but didn't come back with the products. It was still a good shake all that aside!

Frustrating that I can’t add a much deserved tip to my card for Amber for my order from yesterday. She was quick and very pleasant. My food was hot, fresh and made correctly.

This store has the friendly ladies working there! I suspect they were recruited from a certain chicken chain ... Just kidding. I know they are TEXAS friendly. This is the ONE Sonic that can take a big order in the drive through and DOESN'T mess it up! Seriously, I'll leave Newark and drive further into Boyd to go to this store instead of the other locations. Plus, they know what a Pup Cup is and who it's for!

The Manager Stacey was super patient! I can be indecisive and changed my order 3 times. She was very helpful with the different options within the menu. Will definitely be coming back!

Sonic used to serve good filling burgers, that is not the case anymore ... I ordered the #2 (a double) and the burger was way smaller than usual, Oh but the price is higher.... Not recommended, Go to Whataburger instead

The food was okay, not the best. I get it, they were rushed. However, the manager Stacy is so snarky and downright rude!!! She got upset with me because I asked for additional sauce packets!! Plus, I saw her yelling at the carhops who seemed to be doing a fine job!! Usually I see Tony, who's absolutely amazing btw!! But this manager is so just rude and I will be sure to request anyone but her!!! Shameful, just horrid.
