Get the joli poppers they were to die for along with the brisket the slices I got were nice and fatty. The rib meat fully comes off the bone when bit into with a terrific smoke flavor.
I don’t know if this is a Christian or Catholic establishment, but I know they serve holy BBQ, cuz they smoke the HELL out of it! And I mean to the BONE! Pretty lady at the cash register, who’s also a gifted psychic, notices my work uniform and gives me extra bread to “split that up for lunch tomorrow” which was exactly my undisclosed plan. Only down side is that they didn’t have one of their signature “Your Mom Loves” shirts in my size. 😔
Excellent food. Stopped in on a roadtrip and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Definitely recommend this place for great Texas barbecue and service. Absolutely ranks above Austin staples like the Salt Lick.
