Authentic Mexican food!
If you’re looking for some amazing food with that good old feeling of home, head over to Breckenridge, TX and check out Mamazzita’s! Not only is the food selection great, but the atmosphere and the warm, welcoming feeling you get from the owner makes it even better. I got to try several different menu items the sopa de fideo with frijoles, papa loca, and a huarache… and no, not the huarache you used to get hit with!

Called in a Papa Loca. Got the shredded beef with green sauce! Excellent. Wished I’d said extra meat. Definitely a good replacement potato to what I got from the old Pit Stop. I’m usually not a fan of restaurant Mexican rice but I will try it. This is by far the best I’ve ever had. Not mushy or crunchy. They are quick and give you a small spoon to try out their meats. It’s definitely enough food to share.

Mamazzita’s in Breckenridge, TX is a spot for amazing food with a good old feeling of home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner makes the feeling even better. The food selection is great, with real, homemade style Mexican food that tastes authentic. Everything is fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. The portions are great, and the service makes you feel right at home. The sopa de fideo with frijoles, papa loca, and a huarache are delicious. The Papa Loca with shredded beef and green sauce is excellent. The Mexican rice is the best ever had, not mushy or crunchy. The mini pancakes are something you do not want to miss. The 2 hot sauce choices are equally as delicious. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and quality ingredients are used. A large group all ordered something different with not a complaint amongst us. It is a great local business to support.
