Our first time here after passing by for years. Food is good but let me tell you the customer service is beyond unacceptable. Since it was our first time, we were a little lost. We started in the food line, opened two bottles of beers and were told we have to place our To-go order at the register. That is where we went, the main lady looked at us, pointed her fingers and yelled you two stay right there. Do not cross the line to the store and continued serving her customer. We were so confused but luckily another employee came over, apologized for the behavior and told us that the liquor license in the store is different .. literally that simple .. what was the need to point your fingers and yell when that is all you had to tell us.
We continued to check out with the friendly server and asked her if it was okay for us to finish the beer out on the patio and she said of course.
Granted the one to go order took forever, once we got the order we just wanted to go outside to recover from that terrible main lady. We said thank you, grabbed our To-go order and walked to the door. I kid you not, that rude lady yelled again, “excuse me, where are yall going with that beer.” I am of same race and I have never been spoken to like this in my entire life! I was so embarrassed. Perhaps she was like this because my husband is not???
You can sell the best food in the state and I would never come back!!! We are spreading the word! That woman should not work in customer service!!! What a disgrace !!!

Ordered loaded baked potato and 2 meat plate with 1 rib. Baked potato was soft but brisket given in it was pure fat. Could not even swallow a single piece. Would not recommend. Brisket was grey and lacked flavor and smoke ring. Sausage was pale and no flavor. Pinto beans were hard and undercooked. Would not recommend at all!! Not worth the the $45.

Skip their chopped beef sandwich. I’ve had better ones at Little League concession stands. This was a pasty mess of meat on a bun. Upside? Don’t need teeth to eat this mushy sandwich.

Ordered a 3 meat dinner plate and a drink for lunch. Cost $25. 2 small pieces of brisket, 2 small pieces of chicken and a hot dog size piece of sausage. All was cold by the time i oaid and sat down. Seems like the placs is under new management. Nice people but food quality is definitely not the same as when it first opened.

Had a great experience. Food tasted great. Had the ribs and chicken breast. Both great. Their Mac & cheese and twice backed potatoes were great sides. The atmosphere is clean and great customer service by the employees.

The potatoes and burgers are great. Burgers are always cooked fresh. This place has changed for the better. The staff is great and welcoming and organized. I love getting a chopped beef baked potato all the way. The portions are huge for the great prices.

They have a daily lunch special which have always been good. I've had the tacos and the chicken fried steak. I decided to get the stuffed baked potato. I was hoping they would use the chopped meat they used in the tacos, but it was mushy and tasted like the processed mass produced stuff in the grocerystore. I'll stick to the daily specials. The potato itself was the size of a child's football for $12+

I eat there fairly often the food is descent not great but descent for price however I will not be back I was there and I don't know if she was a manager or an owner but the way she talked to one of her employees in front of me and then the response she gave me when I said I preferred it that way and mind you every time I have been there it doesn't matter who makes my plate they have all done it the same way almost every bar b que place I have ever been to cuts there sausage it was unprofessional and you just don't talk to people like that in front of customers and belittle someone just because you think you can I myself will never return

I ordered simply a stuff potato with sausage, there was 3 ppl ahead of me, they finally got their orders, I had ordered, other ppl began to come in, I never got my order I asked the lady to check on my order, then some employee threw together my order, when I got my order home it was wrong, they gave me chopped beef, no onions r pickles, no sauce, no silverware. Disappointed ☹️
