#1 it’s free to tour. #2 dollar scoops. #3. Those scoops are HUGE. #4. FREE HATS. #5. Special flavors.

My friends and I went and I made the mistake of wanting to try all the ice cream, but 0 regrets here. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The self guided tour is so fun, and getting to go to the observatory to see your favorite flavors being made was so mesmerizing.

Also, did I mention the $1 scoops?????😋😋😋😋😋😋

We had such a fun time, touring the bluebell ice cream factory thank you so much for having us. We enjoyed all the history that has been such a rich part of Texas, especially central Texas, for years gone by.

We always stop here any chance we get when coming home from a trip to the Texas Hill Country. It's like our tradition. $1 ice cream?! YES! We've been many times... and will many more.

It's so amazing! It was a dream come true to visit, seriously felt like Charlie in the Chocolate factory lol.

The most backward thinking and poorly run company, only looking out for the few at the top. Plus, if you actually read the ingredients, you would know it's not 'real homemade ice cream' according to the FDA since it has Bioengineered ingredients.

All Texans should visit! You can watch how they make ice cream from the observation deck, and then buy a scoop of one of their many flavors for only $1!

Excellent visit to the Blue Bell Factory. Too bad the observation deck was close. Be aware they close it at 2pm.

The day before this pic, 2 of us were buying Blue Bell ice cream and had a divine chance and shared Christ with 2 young cashiers. Calling this the Blue Bell ministry ha. Then one of the men in our Rise Up Kings gave a tour on Blue Bell at the market in Flower Mound TX the next day.

Visited today and drove just shy of 2 hours to get there. There are two small parking lots. We arrived around 11:30 am and had to circle both lots a few times to find parking but it wasn’t too bad. When we left at close to 1pm, there were a bunch of cars backed up onto the road trying to get into the parking lots. Maybe arriving early is a good idea. Our kids enjoyed the experience and it was worth the one visit but I wouldn’t do it again. One thing that I found disappointing was that there wasn’t a single smile on any of the ladies faces behind the ice cream counter. There were lines for ice cream and it was busy. I suppose that’s why. But they had maybe 20 different flavors at $1/scoop. Everyone loved their ice cream!!

They don't do public tours (which is fine) but there isn't much to see in the factory besides what's visible from a small observation deck. Outside a few short snippets and pictures, there is no attempt to teach folks about how ice cream is made. It seems like a missed opportunity. The ice cream tasting room, however, is very nice.
