Blue Bell Creameries

Great place to take your family very informative and you can see how they make the ice cream. Took my boys there on our way from Waco and they loved it. We tried their different flavors of ice cream for a dollar. Great way to better understand how Blue Bell is such an icon to the Texas. They also have a separate building where you can see their history overall a fun place to experience. They also have their blue bell hats don’t forget to grab those.

My family and I visited on Oct 20, between the hours of 1:00-3:30. It was nice, but we expected more. The observation deck should have a recording that tells you about the process of making the ice cream, boxing it, and shipping it out. Or maybe have one of the workers down below wear an intercom to tell us about the process, what the machines do, what flavor is being made at the time, etc. The gift shop was very nice.
