My family and I visited on Oct 20, between the hours of 1:00-3:30. It was nice, but we expected more. The observation deck should have a recording that tells you about the process of making the ice cream, boxing it, and shipping it out. Or maybe have one of the workers down below wear an intercom to tell us about the process, what the machines do, what flavor is being made at the time, etc. The gift shop was very nice. $1 Ice Cream large scoop! That's the highlight, and over 30 flavors to choose from with many options only avaliable in their parlors.

Also plan to visit the history of Blue Bell, a small baseball museum, and tour the Observation Deck to oversee the whole production.
