The food isn't terrible but they are lacking in options that arent chicken based. The fried options typically taste as if the oil was burned and its typically a little dark unless sitting next to the window. The wait staff is attentive and your glass usually doesn't go empty before they're bringing a refill.
I'm from Austin and my sister lives in Houston, so we meet up for lunch now and then at a spot in between—and this Chinese buffet has become one of our favorites. They offer a wide variety of all the classics you’d hope to see, and everything we've tried has been fresh and flavorful.

I went there at about 4pm.
They should have been stocking the buffet for dinner, and two items came out fresh, but there's several that were sketchy at best.
The shrimp was a definitive risk, but it was still ok.
Some of the buffet was excellent, some not so much.
Reasonable price though.
