I love my HEB. First time at this store, I'll give it a 4.75, not quite as good as some, but it's still great... I hate that they stopped making homestyle chicken salad.

The store was so big and packed with people in store with huge carts doing online shopping for people. So distracting the the actual shoppers couldn't get through the aisles. I ended up leaving the store. At checkout the cashier billed my husband for the groceries of the previous customers. So we ended up having to wait a numerous amount of time because of it. The customers ahead of us didn't even get their 4 bags of groceries. Wth

There is a bakery manager at this store who bullies employees. She yells and screams at people. She stares them down like a wild dog. She intimidates everyone and all of the employees nervously laugh while she screams at their fellow employees. She does not train anyone but instead has others do it and then treats new employees horribly. I would never step one foot in this poorly run store again.

If your a truck driver or owner operator or anybody delivering to the construction (remodel) of this location stay away. The planning and traffic control of this project is nothing but chaos. The male manager of this location that worked on Oct 31st during the day is useless. Trucks are trying to deliver at this location but they don't want trucks there. I was a HEB fan but now they are on my do not shop at list and I will for sure be telling friends, family and the trucking community. I was happy that we were delivering at a HEB thinking in my head we are helping a Texas company, as me being a proud texan. But that joy went by quickly and left a headache and stress. We are just trying to get unloaded and out. If the manager would have left us alone, all trucks would have been gone by noon.

This particular HEB (in Brenham) is currently under construction for expansion. The HEB parking lots are always hectic no matter where you go, but prepare yourself when visiting this one as much of the parking lot is blocked off. Personally, I use Curbside as it helps me avoid the traffic both inside and outside the store. Other than that, you can’t really beat HEB in terms of great deals and product quality, not to mention unique brand items. I look forward to seeing the final result after the construction is over!

My first time at this location for curbside pickup. Heavy construction and a VERY small/tight parking lot made this a difficult trip. Would.not advise those with large pickups to navigate this parking lot.
