We discovered that this restaurant no longer exists — at least not at the location listed on Trip Advisor. Still, we’re glad we stopped at this address as the new restaurant there — Brossa’s — was wonderful!
Got the dumplings and they were ok but only 3 small dumplings on the order. Ordered the fish and shrimp. It was ok.
Delicious! Very cozy and friendly place! Food was delicious! I wish I had taken photos!! My daughter went for the day and based on reviews this is the place we chose and so happy we did! My daughter had the Parmesan Chicken Bites and I had the Pollo Sandwich. Food was hot & fresh! Cute little shop inside too!
the food is made fresh on the day of catering, everything is made from scratch nothing is out of the can.

My wife and son and I enjoyed everything we had. If you are at all hungry when driving by Brenham, it is worth the small detour. I look forward to going back.
We drove down from Georgetown to meet friends from Houston. Hostess was most kind and dishes very tasty. We particularly liked the fried spring rolls.
Excellent- food is delicious and the owner was delightful. They have lotion, soap and various local to purchase
Food was exceptional and Kay (the owner) was excellent company. Highly recommended from people from Breaux Bridge, LÁ.
Four sisters who are Roundtop shoppers always stay the night in the quaint city of Brenham. We discovered Katie’s restaurant for dinner while driving to the downtown from Hwy 290. 1. Food. Menu had a variety of selections. I chose the delicious beef with white rice bowl that had an Asian influence. Loved it! Everyone enjoyed their selections. There is a wine list that contains lower cost wines, and worked well with the food. The desserts are homemade and looked delicious. Didn't try them because of all the goodies we sampled during the day. 2. That evening, Katie was the only server and managed everyone very well. Katie is friendly and you can see her vibrant personality throughout the lovely vintage house. Very clean. 3. Off street parking is next to the restaurant. We will be back.

Teriyaki Chicken Panini was odd sounding but was delicious! I swapped soup for chips (+ $3) which was simple and satisfying! My friends had chicken salad and also loved it! Good service. Just a tad pricey but a nice splurge. They had a fun trunk show, which was pricey but great stuff!
We loved it here!! My husband got the fried rice, and I got a spicy noodle bowl. Kay chatted with us about the bluebonnets and gave us some pointers on how to find them. That was 8 months ago and we still have happy memories of our visit to Brenham, mostly because of how much we enjoyed Kay's Cuisine for the Soul.
So Amazing this little cafe off the beaten path. Sweet little place with nice menu, little gift shop, and sweet owner. A must if you come through Brenham!!
We are so glad we had the pleasure of dinning at Kay’s. The food was delicious. Kay’s is located inside a older home and was just perfect. If you are going to Brenham you must stop here to eat. I wish we would of eaten here the first day because we would of been back. The steak dish I had was wonderful served over rice with bean sprouts , picked cucumber and a fried egg. You pour a sauce on top and mixed it all together. It was the best something I normally would not of ordered but so glad I did.
A quaint, homey feel to the place with delicious food. Went for dinner and the appetizer and entrees were all beautiful to look at and very tasty. Driven by for years but the name “cuisine for the soul” never made me want to stop. Glad we did after reading other reviews. This is far more than a tea room -couples, families and babies were enjoying their experience.
