Don’t be fooled by the rundown building. Best BBQ I’ve had in years. Home made potato salad with big chunks of potatoes. One meat dish will fill you up and you get 2 sides for $16. Worth every penny. Place was full of locals if that tells you something!!

You have to stop for lunch at LJ's!!!!!!LJ's knows how to add the right blend of flavors to each of their menu items. The brisket was so tender I could cut it with my fork. The beans were full of flavor. The ribs were falling off the bone. Overall, this place was good. The service was really speedy, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I ordered the BBQ plate with beans, potato salad, brisket, and sausage. The best thing on the plate was the Brisket. The sausage tastes good, but the outside skin was so tough incoild not chew through it. The potato salad was good, and the beans were just ok. I would definitely come back here.

Local find, diamond in the rough. Great plate of Texas BBQ, everything was on point, with great smoke taste. Enjoyed the sides and freshly made pickles. If your in the area, definitely a must tey.

At some point in time, if you can’t keep your menu stocked for 3 hours , you need to either change your hours or the way you’re running the place in my opinion as there are lots of great barbecue joints in Texas.

Better than Salt Lick! Flavor is there for sure, brisket and jalapeño and cheese sausage literally melt in your mouth. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. Will definitely be returning.
