Before anything, I am NOT a previous employee, and I agree with the other reviews. I MADE a reservation so they know my name, Blanca. I made a last minute reservation to which they agreed to have my husband and I for valentine’s day. We got there on time at 7:30pm. My husband decided he was not feeling well and did not want to eat that much so we asked our waiter if we could just share the full course meal, I was not aware that was the only option of the night. They agreed to serve us one full course meal to where my husband and I could share. There was a glass with lipstick that was not mine on it, the different courses took so long to get there, we were missing spoons for the lobster bisque that we ordered and by this time it was already 9pm. I asked my waitress Mary if the food was almost out because it was already late if not, I would want to cancel that whole meal. She went to “check”. The “owner” came back to my table and she said: “ I understand you want to cancel the order?” To which I said: “yes, just charge me how much we concumed” she said: “yeah I am going to have to do that because you cost me two tables by me taking you last minute.” First of all, if you are not going to take a couple in last minute without then rubbing it in their face, don’t. Second of all, your comment about me “costing you” was so unnecessary. I said I wanted to cancel for said reason, just accept, charge me and go about your day. There was no need for your ill intentioned little comment but that shows your character. The place wasn’t even that packed to where our table was being neglected so much. Take accountability as the “business owner” that you are and do better. Ya’ll, listen to the other bad reviews, strangely enough, I went through something similar so that says a lot before these people come back and comment to my review “clapping back”.
Quiet, laid back atmosphere with great food and LOTS of drink choices. It was just the place to have dinner after a long day.

This is tucked away at the corner of the square in Brenham. If you want a quiet and swanky place to have a good conversation this is for sure it. They look set up for larger gatherings too, but we were there for brunch on Sunday and it was a perfect spot to relax and visit!

The drinks always look so good. What’s it like to actually get served at the bar vs. sitting for 40 minutes watching everyone else get served? I really want to like this place but it’s so hit and miss with service.
We’ve had two excellent upscale dinners here. Limited menu selection but each item is very high quality.
They have a great wine selection , and offer flights. There is also a full service bar. Quiet interior and exterior during both of our weekend dinner visits.
Staff and mgmt are very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable. If a young server does not know the answer to a question about wine , they will get the answer and come back to you.

Had lunch here on Sunday. The patio atmosphere was great. The food when we finally got it was delicious. Unfortunately it took over an hour to get our meal. The waitress apologized and said we ordered after a party of 12 and that was the delay. The chef even came by and apologized as well.

I swear my pupils dilated when I took my first bite of the filet, it was absolutely amazing. The drinks are top tier and the service is stellar every single time!!! Perfect time for patio season!

Came in the evening for dinner not expecting much but hoping for the best. The atmosphere looked really cheap and poorly decorated but I'm surprised we could see any of it considering how unusually dim the lights were. The worst part was servings were so small! Far too small for the price you're paying. The entrees looked more like an appetizers than an actual entrees. The food was really hit or miss- some of it decent and the rest of it was barely subpar and looked and tasted like it came from a Sam's club frozen food box. Left feeling irritated with how much we paid due to the serving size on our plate when we finally saw our food. Completely unimpressed, disappointed, and won't be returning.

I'm really happy that we have this restaurant in Brenham.
The new pumpkin spice espresso martini is amazing!!! Definitely a drink you need to try! Their original espresso is top notch! Can’t go wrong with either one!!!

Most definitely the best food I’ve had in Brenham! The Mahi burger is to die for…and the service was great as well.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience here which was disappointing considering the great reviews. Service was probably some of the worst service we've had. We are patient and understanding but having to get up a total of 4 times to physically track down help is unacceptable. From forgotten silverware, plates, drinks..it proved to be inconsistent with what the reviews said we would experience. We got 2 wine tastings specifically for the wines listed but they switched out some wines without consulting with us first, choosing a different types of wine, Zin instead of tempranillo, etc. so we were unable to try the wines that made us order the tasting in the first place. The tasting also sat on the bar while staff were on phones or talking. We were 1 of 3 couples in there at the time. We got beef tenderloin and a chicken dish, the steak was okay, chicken inedible. We didn't send anything back but the staff didn't inquire as to why it wasn't eaten. I let them know after we paid the chicken was hard and chewy, no one came out to apologize or find out more information but most of them were very deep into their own conversations at the bar. Definitely not worth $200 for dinner and drinks for the service and quality of food received. Very disappointing considering this was out first vacation without kids in 3 years. The vibe and atmosphere was amazing but that was the only redeeming quality.

Very friendly and prompt service. The smoked Old Fashioned was great and they have 4 or 5 different woods to smoke it with. The Loaded Fries and Charcuterie Board were great.

I cannot say enough about this place. We had a reception here after a memorial service. Everyone we spoke to was warm, kind, communicative and accommodating. The food was delicious (thank you, Chef Faith!) and the service was impeccable. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

The best steak in Brenahm. The cut and the cook were far beyond what I expected in a small town restaurant. The whole menu really exceeds expectations. The service is excellent and the drink menu goes beyond just wine. They also have excellent cocktails and bourbon. The staff and atmosphere are great! Thanks y'all!
