In a humble McDonaldâs, tucked beside a store where I drop fuel, lies a culinary treasure unlike any other. I was but a weary traveler, my hands calloused from the road, my spirit yearning for sustenance⊠when I found it.
The Hot ân Spicy McChicken.
Not just any sandwichâno, this was forged by what I can only assume is a council of flavor wizards, each sworn to protect the sacred balance of heat and crisp. The first bite was like being knighted by a jalapeño in shining armor. The breading? A golden armor of crunch. The heat? A gentle but confident handshake from the spice gods.
I have visited other McDonaldâs since, hoping to find this magic again, but all have fallen short. This location alone holds the true flame.
And so, I will return. Again and again, not out of hunger, but out of loyalty to the legend. For in this place, heroes are not bornâthey are breaded, sauced, and wrapped in paper.

This McDonaldâs on 290 in Brenham is a complete joke. I sat at the speaker for so long I couldâve grown the potatoes for the fries myself. No greeting, no âone moment,â just dead silence. Then, as Iâm leaving and trying to avoid scraping my car on their poorly designed curb, I stop for two seconds to fix my mirrors â and here comes the manager stomping out like she owns the highway, yelling at me like I was doing something wrong. Maybe worry less about yelling at paying customers and more about doing your actual job. Never again.

They forgot my 1 whole syrup, so I went back & before I could explain, the manager tried to charge me .72 for my syrup! No ma'am! I had to get back in my car to come to get the one little pkg. of syrup because your staff forgot to put it in my bag! You Should have given it to me with an EXTRA one for in unconveniencing me! #p

Waited 30 minutes for food. Order was incorrect. I saw another customer fussed at by a worker for trying to make sure her food was correct and I'm not about that life so we delt with it. Other customers came in from drive through for missing item. A complete cluster.

Don't go here. The staff didn't have any idea what each other were doing. They gave out orders meant for the dine in to the drive through and vice versa. They openly criticized each other. Almost 30 minutes to get 2 egg mcmuffins.

Family members visited yesterday and they ran out of nuggets. Stopped for breakfast this morning, they've run out of butter. Also see pic below. Large chunks of ice in a $3.29 Frappe because someone was too lazy to run the blender Ionger than 2 seconds.
