Extremely poor service and rude staff. As a brenham local my whole life it breaks my heart we lost yumms and got this place. I never wished to see a indie coffee place go down but the low quality at this establishment has changed my mind.

Came here a few times while in town! Their espresso is so good. Had an Americano, oat milk latte, and a toddy cold brew. Staff is so friendly, and very helpful. I love the environment. Will be back when we visit Texas again!

the atmosphere of this coffee shop is very fun! they seem to be busy the whole day haha, we kept passing by as we walked the town and it was always a line. ive had better coffee i will say, the milk steaming could use some work and the coffee was pretty bland. the service was sweet. our blueberry scone was very rubbery though, i was quite shocked, tasted almost microwaved im not sure but it was really rubbery unfortunately. i wouldn't come back for coffee or pastries, maybe their smoothies i could try next time but i think its a fun experience just to walk around and see the store. just there for the vibes really.

Mescalito Coffee is one of my favorite spots in Houston! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the great vibe — cozy, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re grabbing a drink to go or settling in to work or chat with friends. The coffee is fantastic — rich, smooth, and expertly made every time. Their menu has a great variety of creative drinks and delicious espresso options, and everything I’ve tried has been consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes it easy to stay and enjoy your drink. Highly recommend Mescalito for anyone looking for outstanding coffee and a great local hangout!
Great coffee, friendly employees and great atmosphere. The clothing shop in the back is also very nice. The best place to get coffee to in town by far.

I’ll go in order here… -the food is all made from scratch/fresh daily with local ingredients. Can’t really be beat in my opinion. -the employees are always kind and go out of their way to be helpful, despite the chaotic environment the shops popularity creates -I know I know, I said it can be a chaotic environment, however, the clientele are often just as amazing and kind as the staff. It makes for a wonderful “3rd space” in today’s world which isn’t something you often see with the technology we are constantly inundated with lately.
