I love having coffee at Mescalito! The coffee is wonderful: yesterday, I had a Gingerbread Latte which was “off the charts amazing”! The food is always so delicious! I love having such an amazing coffee shop downtown Brenham!

-the food is all made from scratch/fresh daily with local ingredients. Can’t really be beat in my opinion.
-the employees are always kind and go out of their way to be helpful, despite the chaotic environment the shops popularity creates
-I know I know, I said it can be a chaotic environment, however, the clientele are often just as amazing and kind as the staff. It makes for a wonderful “3rd space” in today’s world...

I’m a student here, and this is easily my favorite study spot. The atmosphere is great, always calm with great energy. The food and drinks are a little pricey, but you can taste the quality and freshness in everything. It’s worth it, especially knowing you’re supporting a local business.
