My family went here because another restaurant was closed. Turned out to be the best decision ever. It was my grandaughter's 2nd. birthday and the waitress (Callie), staff, and other customers made us feel like family. The food is right out of grandma's kitchen and was DELICIOUS. Fresh, homemade soup, juicy fresh burgers, and I enjoyed the baked chick which was amazingly tender-falling off the bone- fantastic. After our meal, the entire restaurant sang happy birthday...
The servers are rude to customers who don’t tip, they pick and choose. Also the gossiping about customers are so unacceptable , I used to work here for a few months. But the mother is wonderful, but her daughters are unkind, disrespectful, they just mistreat people. I was very kind to them all, but they didn’t like me, probably I was too kind , and not apart of the family.

My brother and I stopped on our way to Houston. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu prices. The service and atmosphere brought back memories of our youth eating at a local mom and pop cafe!
