Came in and was served food that was nearly ice cold. I asked them to take it back and heat it and it came back the exact same way. When I asked about it the host got sassy. I was in town visiting my daughter and wanted to treat her to a nice dinner off campus. Will not be eating here again. $165 for trash food and poor service.

Service was good. The sushi was a mix for me. The shaggy dog wich was marked a favorite was sub par. To much rice to meat and topping ratio to me, which threw off the flavors. Thw flavors where also unbalanced with my rice less roll. Thou the spicy tuna was great. The booths need repair throwing off the otherwise spot on atmosphere. With a few tweaks this place could be great.

Been coming here for years, and only was disappointed one time with the food, but the service is always amazing! There’s so many restaurants in Brenham that have terrible food and bad service. The employees here are always so upbeat and courteous, and go out of their way to make sure my family and I are happy and comfortable. One thing I have learned from being in the military and interacting with foreigners, is that they are more appreciative and happy to be working in this country, something that many Americans take for granted. When you come to this establishment, it’s very evident that they fit this mold to a T!!!! 🙌

They don’t give you the full amount of fish that you order. Rolls were supposed to be topped with salmon and avocado pieces with crab and more avocado on the inside. They practically gave me a bare roll with a minuscule amount of salmon and avocado in the inside and charged me the full price. I showed it to their staff and they said that’s what it’s supposed to be despite what’s shown in the picture. Rip off. From now on I’ll just go get sushi at HEB across the street at half the price and triple the fish. Pictures show what was advertised and what I received instead.

Food: I ordered shrimp yakisoba. Shrimp and noodles cooked well. Too much soy sauce. Service: very good. Even though he forgot my salad and apologized when I reminded him. Atmosphere: Please clean!! Dirty, nats, bathrooms (only 1 stall working and lock broken), also dirty. Plumber was there coughing and trying to to fix a leak behind the bar where I was sitting. It was lunchtime and I was by myself. No decor. I do appreciate the Japanese program on the TV. I will come back for Hibachi, which I’ve had here once before it it was very good. PLEASE CLEAN THE RESTAURANT!

Overpriced for not much. Lunch bento only had 3 shrimp. Lunch sushi had mostly rice and not much filling. The 2 people eating sushi had to wait 20 minutes after the people eating the bentos got their's. The small amount of veggies on the bentos were a joke. Everything was sticky and the whole place didn't feel clean. And there is actually no Lunch grill pricing only dinner.

Food was ok, but our server was not. There was a table with about 10 people we didn't know in front of us and six at our table, the server grabbed everyone's cup (put on a tray) from both tables to go refill them, that is NOT ok. My husband got the wrong cup and asked for a new one that never came. Very very poor service, if a health inspector would have e seen that, the would have e been shut down

Stopped in to grab a quick appetizer and place an order to go. Sat at the bar waiting for 13 mins and then I finally stopped someone and asked for a menu. Ordered a sake and an appetizer, was given the sake and no glass to drink it. Had to wait to ask someone else for a glass. Appetizer came, no silverware no napkin, soft shell crab was horrible. It tasted like wet dog food smells. My to go order came out and they placed my raw sushi directly on top of my hot fried rice. Raw sushi shouldn’t be hot or warm. So disappointing. Spent $100 and was completely dissatisfied. Posting a pic of the sushi I received. Weird color, did not feel safe to eat…
