Amazing bbq and service at a good price! The bbq sauces, pickles&onions, Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, sausage, ribs, and brisket were all delicious. We even got a free beer! We didn’t have to wait at all on a Sunday at 12:30, although we have driven by it before when there was a line out the door! It would be worth the wait though for sure! Best bbq in town!

The epitome of Texas bbq and small town charm. Their ribs and brisket are some of the best that I’ve ever had. The brussels sprouts are worthy of their title of being world famous since they almost melt in your mouth with the perfectly blended candied sweet and salty flavors. The mac and cheese was also very tasty. The people who worked there were also very friendly and looked like they enjoyed working there. Will be stopping by here when I travel from Austin to Houston.

Been going to Truth’s in Brenham since day one. Leonard, mom & dad are a great team. Staff is courteous and helpful. Houston location is also amazing but still like the country feel of Brenham. Keep up the great work Leonard!

Solid BBQ. Pork ribs were so good! Loved the corn pudding and brussel sprouts too. Banana pudding was probably the best I ever had. We will definitely be back!
The roadside location and atmosphere was very Texan BBQ in a way.
The sliced brisket was a little dry for my taste. The House Sausage was okay and the pork ribs were solid.
The tater tot casserole was excellent as were the pinto beans. Potato salad was mayo based versus mustard so, not really to my taste but it was still pretty good.

I stopped @ Truth Bar B Que on my way back from Round Top, Tx around 1:35 pm on 6/21/2025. I purchased some turkey, a beef rib, and 1.5 pounds of moist brisket. The rib alone was $47.00. The rib was tasteless and the brisket was a disappointment. It was sliced 3/8 of an inch thick and had no flavor. What a disappointing experience. The service was a 10+ but the food was a 1. I spent a $130.00 with a tip included. I wasted my $$$$.
Flies all over—yikes. How is this so highly rated? Do yourselves a favor and skip this place. Free beer, so that’s why I gave it 2 stars. Overall, would never eat there again. Smokeshack in SATX is wayyyyy betta!

Truth BBQ in Brenham is Texas barbecue done right. We tried everything—brisket, ribs, sausage, and all the sides—and every bite delivered. The brisket was tender with that perfect smoky bark, ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the sausage had the right kick. The tater tot casserole and Brussels sprouts were flavorful standouts, but the banana pudding? Hands-down one of the best we’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and nostalgic in all the right ways. Great food, great folks, and absolutely worth the drive. 🐂🔥🍌🍰
