My husband was reared in East LA and was disappointed in the pan dulce you find in North Texas until we discovered La Familia. The empanadas, egg breads and the rest are as good as anything we've had in LA or Houston.
I love this bakery!!! They have so much to choose from and have the best tres leches cakes! I was in a pinch the other day and they only have one vanilla tres leches left that day and the lady that works there held it for me until I could get there. The store is very clean, the customer service is great and they had a ton of different things to chose from. They also have a chocolate tres leches that we will be trying next
The sweet bread is fresh and delicious.
