The chilaquiles con carne deshebrada en salasa verde are my favorite! You really can't go wrong with anything you order. I especially love the handmade tortillas de masa ?. I like to add a dab of butter to mine ?.

When I walked into the restuarant with my family, it came to realization that we were the only family that spoke English and the clientele and staff spoke Spanish. I looked at the staff member and stated "mi Español es Malo, hablo Ingles" the staff worked well with us with a fine mix of English and simple Spanish. Not only was the restaurant family friendly and oriented but the food was amazing, with plenty of flavor and filling, and very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

I've only gone one time but i haven't been able to stop thinking about going again! My first time was great! Food was good i actually finished everything on my plate. You get free chips and soup when you sit down! 5 stars! ? ?I recommend it 100% ? must try!

The menudo was the worst in Brownsville, not cleaned properly, it had a smell. The cook or the one that prepped it was hungover or didn't taste it. We weren't charged for them, the rest of the food was awesome.

Went with a big group and they let us move 2 tables together. Food was very good and price was fair. The reason for 4 stars is the long wait for the food, about 30 minutes. They did tell us it was busy and we would have to wait though, so the communication was nice.

Great authentic Mexicana food. English isn't spoken at this restaurant so if you don't speak Spanish, be prepared by bringing a translator or even Google translate app. It's worth it though
