I was in Brownsville for the weekend and decided to stop by and buy a cake. I was so disappointed the bread tasted old and just really dry. I remember this place used to be really good, it’s definitely not the same I purchased an 8in round cake paid $45 I could’ve gotten a way better tasting cake for half the price at HEB.

The cupcakes were delicious, but the filling you placed in the one cupcake revealed a girl was expected. The papers you had from the doctor’s office reveal the baby is a boy. Only one cupcake had the filling. The 11th person to take a bite of their cupcake revealed that pink filling. By that time the anticipation had grown, and there it was. A girl. Minutes later my son-in-law opened the doctor’s report. No, it’s a boy. We all are eagerly waiting my son-in-law and daughter’s baby boy in March, but it surprises me still how your inattention to detail or negligence affected us all. You may think a refund and an electronic apology are enough. I doubt it. I wish you well, but I recommend you redouble your efforts to provide a proper cake to make sure you do not risk ruining someone’s birthday or anniversary or reveal party.

I asked for them to make gender reveal cake and they got it wrong!! How can someone make such a stupid mistake like that, when I gave them the envelope. If you have questions just call!! It was that simple!!

For the amount that was charged for the cake we purchased, you'd think that it would be amazingly moist and amazing. Was very disappointed. The cake was very dry, no moistness to it at all. Seems like it came from a generic box from dollar tree. No longer will I spend 50 dollars for a cake here when I had the best. Big difference between real home baked cakes to this. Wow so disappointing.

Years and years of being customer, cause I look for great flavor and presentation, first the color silver we can't do, today i just checked they do silver but not the time I ask, weird, cause is something possible, the cake for 20, I wanted rectangle, no we don't do it that size, only round, in another bakery they do,edible images extra price, always, ok, but still not the colors right? And I say, it suppose to be red and yellow, not that color, the man stated that's how the machine is doing lately, the best is black, like nothing, I was not offered a refund or anything not even a sorry...the taste not that great at all, filling was strawberry I guess it was only a tablespoon for the whole cake, am not coming back at all, its only OLD FAME, no presentation and no great taste anymore. I've bought my cakes here at least 8 times in the last two years and a half. The last three times the cakes weren't as good. Yesterday I had to get a cake and went for a chocolate cake and I displeased with the dryness and lack of flavor. The cake couldn't be any worse, everyone who got a piece said the same "an HEB cake would have been better", and after yesterday I am inclined to go that way forward.
