I really liked the quesabirrias, very well served with meat, and delicious flavor, good price and quality, I would have liked them to give two sauce options, they only give the red one and not the green one, but everything was very good :)

Located inside the Sunrise Food Court. Flautas deshebrada and the refried beans are Delicious! Salsa has a mild heat but sure is tasty. My mom chose the Enchiladas suizas, which were well stuffed with a delicious salsa verde. Prices are GREAT! For 8 dollars you can get a full meal with can soda included and likely still have leftovers for later.

Sunday tradition. The Barbacha esta 10of 10 so fresh and flavorful. Be sure to get the chicharrones, i usually get 1.5lb barbacoa and .5 lb chicharron and we stuff our faces till we are full. I enjoy this place and you should too.

The owner was instrumental to catering a phenomenal public event on behalf of the City of Brownsville. We were able to remotely set up an order for delivery for close to $500 worth of food and drinks. Without Cocina Maiz, this could not have been possible.~With eternal gratitude
