We went twice while we were in town. The food was so good and overall the place is very authentic. You can tell everyone knows each other and it feels like a neighborhood restaurant. The prices are unreal for what you get! DELICIOUS!
Food was delicious and did get good table service. But unfortunately when we wanted to pay for a plate to go separately, the lady at register was visibly annoyed at this request. She was rushing through what was what on waitress ticket, saying what was being charged and I was surprised at final cost. I love going there because the food is fresh and hot like a mom's good cooking. I been out of brownsville for 16 years I come back and Emilias is still there god bless this place it's good food.
