I loved this lovely brunch!! Definitely worth eating outside if its a good day. I also enjoyed the friendly visit from one of the ducks in the pond 🤣 We got the fruit ricotta toast, the eggs Benedict, guava mimosa and the smoked salmon bagel. My favorite was the fruit ricotta toast it was just the right touch of sweetness and savory. The fruit toast changes with the fruit it is topped with one of the other options was figs. I'll be looking for that next time we go

Really good food with lots of healthy and light options plus meals like burgers. Very pleasant ambiance and setting, beautiful patio seating overlooking a pond.

Food was great. Lemonade was tart and fresh (prefect) not overly sweet but just enough. Everything was delicious. Good spice level and even got a fresh orange juice to go. We live in corpus and have told everyone about this place since we got back. Even planning a trip back down as an excuse to go here again!! Highly recommend.

They brought my small $5 glass of fresh squeezed orange juice; with ice in it! I have never been served orange juice with ice…I asked for a glass without ice. My breakfast came with toast, I asked for jelly; and there was a $2 charge on my bill for the jelly. If there’s an additional cost; shouldn’t I have been told that before I got the jelly?!?

Lola's Bistro has become my new favorite place to dine. The food is amazing, fresh and appealing to all the senses. It is pricey, yes. But so worth it. The pear salad is probably my favorite. Along with the crème brûlée. Their mocktails are also to die for.

I am in town visiting from Florida and I stopped by for lunch. I was by myself and it took a few minutes for host to figure out where to sit me since most of the tables are for 4 people. Once seated the waitress took my drink order. The menu had so many wonderful choices, I had a hard time deciding. I ended up getting a side salad and Pappardelle. I took half of it home. Very delicious!

The burger I ordered was great juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My husband had the steak, which unfortunately didn’t quite meet our expectations.

The biggest issue was the service. Our drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive, and only came out after we reminded the server twice.

Overall, the food has its highlights, but the experience could definitely be improved with more attentive service.

My visit to Lola’s Bistro at 1335 Palm Blvd, Brownsville, TX, was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a truly memorable dining experience. The bistro’s chic yet cozy vibe, paired with its serene view overlooking a pond, creates a perfect backdrop for any meal, whether it’s brunch, lunch, or dinner.

The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Even during a busy brunch hour, the team was accommodating, ensuring our coffee cups stayed full and our needs were met with genuine hospitality. The outdoor patio, though not open during my visit, looked like a lovely spot to enjoy the waterfront view on a nice day.Lola’s Bistro is a gem in Brownsville’s Mitte Cultural District, blending high-quality cuisine with heartfelt service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for an unforgettable culinary adventure. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try their tempting desserts and explore more of the menu

Horrible service. I went for brunch and they asked if I had a reservation, I said the link wasn’t working and they just said oh we know that. They made me wait for like 25 min while there were tables open for service. It’s a who you know place. Never again 🙂🙂
