0ne star for having a parking space . The other is out of pity. The wait to be greeted after sitting easily over 5 min. After ordering drinks another 10 for beer in bottle. No offer of a glass. Margarita followed in another 5 or more. Plates came separated by over 5 min. Cabrito was major chewy and we had to ask for a sharp knife. Charro beans were almost room temp. There was a big screen tv with kickboxing fights. Then they set up videos from a computer with flashing lights and terrible speakers. That made the sweaty guys kicking and punching each other seem less awful. After paying the bill ($$$) we fought our way to the door around huge tables that blocked entrance and exit. Summarizing: Worst meal, service, atmosphere I have encountered in several years. And on further reflection I'm taking back that second star :(

We went here on a recommendation by a local. The food (buffet) was very good and had excellent fried shrimp. You could see it is frequented by locals for special occasions. A little pricey so I don't know if we'll be back.

We had a large family dinner here and before going I looked up reviews here on Yelp. I wasn't expecting much because the reviews were kind of negative. But went along to be with family. If I could give 2.5 stars I would, there were a lot of things going for this place but the bad service is a tough one. The restaurant was just about completely full. The food was pretty good. We had a mix chorizo queso, beef fajitas, carne asada tacos, and enchiladas and it wasn't bad. Everyone ate everything! The place fit our party of 27 easily and accommodated separate checks correctly. There was a DJ,music, and mariachis that played for a good long while! Loved this. If I was ever in the area again, I might go back if just for the Mariachis. The music was at a decent volume that we could still talk. The service could've been better. Don't know if it was the size of our party or it's just the way this place is run. But service was bad and the bar tender was alone and could've used some help. Food came out at all times, some quick and some after 90 minutes and only after a reminder that food hadn't been recieved. No water was offered and when asked for some, no refills were ever offered or given. We were not checked on regularly, always had to get servers attention. I understand we were a large party but we had reservations and they could have planned accordingly and I think they are always pretty full as there seemed to be several large parties. Proper staffing could've been planned for better. I know this is not a place for wine but we did order a bottle and the very least they could do is store it at normal temperature, not hot. We got a bottle of red wine that was hot. I'm not taking about storing it in a cellar, but just the basics idea of, if offering wine, of not storing it in heat or next to a stove or refrigerator heat.

Camperos Is a very nice relaxing atmosphere place. It offers a good selection of food in a buffet style as well as a la carte. Wait staff is very respectful and courteous.
