Wife and I had Lunch and ordered the Ribeye Steak with Margaritas! Eloy was our server and did a fantastic job. Why order fajitas when the steak is off the chain delicious! Oh, and don’t forget to order some whole grilled Serrano peppers to make your taco sing…Will be back again soon, thanks for a wonderful experience.

My family and I were visiting from Houston and decided to try, Mi Pueblito Restaurant Bar. We truly loved this place! The food and the atmosphere were extraordinary! Our server, Eloy, was the best we’ve ever had! Very attentive to our needs. Thank you for the great experience!

Food was dried on the inside, like it was from the day before, and was heavily burned like the fire was too hot, and at the same time had this black burn flavor like the grill was not cleaned. The food was horrible. Went Monday evening with my family, ordered the large parrillada and a plate of beef ribs. Then, the ribs were burn on the outside but rare on the inside. My son cut one and his plate was full of blood.
This place used to be good, but not any more.
Service was great tho.

We have always been fans of Mi Pueblito, however their new concept has brought them to a new level. We enjoyed the new food options & highly recommend the elote ribs & corn bread dessert. Service has always been fantastic with our usual waiters Adrian, Victor & Capi but in today’s dinner experience Eloy outdid himself with his service, carisma & recommendations.

The service was awful, the food, had no flavor and my friend was new to Brownsville and wanted a good experience with Mexican food, we ordered flautas with rice and beans, $12 plate, the rice was dry and microwaved, the flautas had no flavor and were hard... It was not good and we left super disappointed! Never going back... 👎😒

First off, our server was great. He was very attentive and made sure our drinks were full. The food was just okay. The chicken fajita lacked flavor and plates don't come with charro, guacamole, or rice like other restaurants. Over priced in comparison to similar places. We had two small pozole soups, two chicken fajita adobada plates(no sides), one Flecha del Indio, and one steak. Three waters, two teas and two Merlot, a small guacamole, champiñon ajillo, and choriqueso for over $240....that averages to $40/person. MAYBE if the food was tasty it'd be worth it, but not going back.

Chips served cold
The pico has a traditional taste
The salsa verde is watery
The grilled pepper dip slightly spicy
The charro beans needed more flavor. They were temperature warm and not hot
Ordered fajitas. That's all you get no rice no beans...the corn tortillas just fell apart. The fajitas were like trying to eat rubber.
Won't be going back. Especially for the price they charge. I expected more

They Did not have items listed on menu, they forgot to add cheese to what we ordered, flour tortillas are not homemade and they were also undercooked and small size, place was hot inside, restrooms with no soap and toilet backed up, no coffee refills brought, understaffed. Food was hot which was nice and flavor was okay but there were no chips for the salsa they brought to the table. I honestly just wanted to pay and leave.
