We ordered our wedding cake from Monique’s, and they were amazing to work with. We just wanted a small cake for cake cutting pictures and they gave us exactly what we wanted. Our other dessert vendor canceled just a few days before the wedding and Monique’s stepped in and saved the day. They made cupcakes for my 200 guests without a problem. We also ordered a few cakes from them for other wedding week festivities, and everyone who tried the cakes had nothing but good things to say. Their cakes are moist, perfectly sweet, and some of the best I’ve had. As a venue manager, I’ve been able to try a lot of wedding cakes and it’s really hard to find one that’s actually good. I definitely recommend Monique’s Cakes for your next event.

Bought a cake a few days ago white with black hearts and bows and the lady said it had a cheesecake filling but it didn’t taste like cheesecake it was just cream disappointed on that and the cake was a bit dry as well

The cakes are beautiful but the taste isn’t there. Which brings down the quality of their cakes. Sure you can have a beautiful cake, but if it doesn’t taste phenomenal and is dry, it’s not worth it. I have had better for cheaper price.

I have had a few different things from Monique’s before…cupcakes, crème brûlée, macarons, cake, all very yummy. Last week, I placed a custom cake order for a baby shower. Monique was very easy to work with and to share my ideas for the cake. The cake was not only beautiful but so so delicious. We had the vanilla cake (super light and fluffy) with raspberry filling (also very light, not overly sweet), with vanilla buttercream exterior. Everyone raved over it at the shower! Currently placing my next custom cake order because it was THAT good.

Monique’s cakes makes beautiful cakes, but they do not provide adequate wrap to travel with. I got a two tiered cake that was beautiful, but they gave me this flimsy box that didn’t even close. They had to tape it with another box. (Which we had to suggest because they were just going to let us leave with it like this ) Since it was made out of flimsy cardboard, it buckled in and destroyed the cake. When I let them know, they offered me a $25 discount. I did not want my money back. I wanted them to have appropriate wrap so that when we buy their beautiful cakes, we can Actually enjoy them. The box they provided me was appropriate for a 10 inch single tiered cake not a two tiered cake. It’s a shame all these beautiful cakes on their website and they have no way of putting them in a box for you. Hopefully they get this sorted. Once they do, I’ll be happy to buy them again, but until then I won’t. They came highly recommended. It’s a shame. No delivery was even offered. Otherwise, I would’ve purchased it.
