It had been a while since our last visit, so we returned to RJ's BBQ. We were pleased with the service and the food. Our sandwiches, the Chuck Norris & the Bullsh*t, were delicious!

I never thought I was gonna find true Texas brisket at the sunrise mall. Hands down the best brisket I've had in town. Beans are outstanding.

Did not expect to find delicious bbq at the mall but lo and behold I did. The brisket was like butter and the beans were really really good. Love that my plate came with pickles, onion, and jalapeños and the potato salad was delicious.

This meat on the two sandwiches and ribs we had were tasteless. We were all disappointed since it won so many awards. I am from KCMO and love BBQ. This is probably the worst I have ever had. Tasted like the brisket, beef and sausage was cooked a week ago. Sad. Potato salad was good. Not worth the price, and located in a mall. Offered no sauces except for one that had no flavor either. All 4 of my companions were disappointed.

When I tell you this grilled cheese and brisket filled me up, I'm saying I didn't even finish it! Totally worth being moderately priced. Definitely bang for your buck. The potato salad was mayo based and the bbq sauce was sweet. They give you Jalapeños with the pickles and onions. I have to try the rest of the menu!!!
Excessive fat on the brisket very bland and expensive.no BBQ sauce provided .spent 50 dollars only good thing we're the beans and sausage.

Horrible, flavorless, colorless, dry and just plain ewwwww!!! I Ordered 1lb of brisket MOIST and this place disappointed BAD... NEVER AGAIN, SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE RUN!!! This was at the mall location I hope their other locations aren't this bad cause man.
