Terrible !!! we literally had to get up and walk out due to lack of service by wait staff, didn't even bother showing up to table after and long and patient wait. If you are visiting from out of town, please skip this restaurant. (This isn't Brownsville locals approved)

Nice spot, the food was ok. I ordered chicken and waffles. Wasn't expecting a tenderloin. It was decent. The mocha latte was one of the best I've ever had thought. I will def be back for that.

Went for the first time on Friday and was honestly quite disappointed. I had the Poblano Chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. The veggies didn’t taste like anything special and reminded all of us of bagged frozen veggies. The poblano sauce honestly didn’t taste like poblano peppers either. It was strange. The chicken breast was cooked well though.
The soda was very flat and nothing was done after it was mentioned. Our table just kept getting flat soda.
They were also taking what seemed to be promotional photos for some dishes so staff seemed distracted by that as well. It was an overall not great experience.

Food is good as in the chef is experienced and I could tell he is good, but everyone who eats here needs to know that there is a roach infestation in which management does not want to address. The owners also sit at the bar and get drunk which is the number one rule of what not to do when you own a bar. It makes me uncomfortable.

The food was excellent. The service was bleh. Not so much my server but the two ladies that were in the back were asked to get me some butter and syrup and they just proceeded to continue to close the restaurant and after 7-10 min I went up and I told them if I could please get my butter and syrup and I waited and they told me to sit down and I had to wait another couple of minutes for my server to bring it. Don’t understand why the ladies couldn’t do it themselves. Poor customer service

Definitely a nice brunch place that I enjoyed. I went with my wife and family, and it was a great experience. Food was all very decent and a youthful atmosphere, something Brownsville desperately needs. The menu is a little pricey, but it is worth it for the quality. I will come back!

Amazing experience as always! Food is always amazing! Sam & Marina are Amazing. Welcoming environment! Its our favorite brunch place. Those customized drinks are to die for! We always try something different when we go! Shout out to the entire crew for making Roosters an amazing place to go 💖👌💋🤌

My husband and I were a bit hesitant about trying this place just because of the mixed reviews, however we still decided to try and so glad we did!! The atmosphere is very casual and yet very inviting . They serve breakfast and lunch. They have a variety of plates to choose from. My husband tried the French toast with a side of 2 scrambled eggs, and I had the Cilantro Lime Cream Chicken with potatoes and vegetables. It was very good and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Outstanding coffee and incredible food! The sirloin chilaquiles are unforgettable—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A slightly upscale spot that’s absolutely worth every visit.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience here. Our food was really cold and undercooked. Coffee was good but also cold. Upon returning our food the manager came to the table with a very bad attitude. She was super rude and was hesitant to make things right. Not only was our food not good but a customer fell because they were mopping and didn’t have a caution wet floor sign up. This place has really gone down. They should consider replacing management!

First visit exceeded expectations! From the outside looks like a small eatery, but once inside, wide open with lots of light and full of people enjoying each others company. You can smell the Expresso and that's a good thing. The menu choices are many and unique. The service is great and the food is fresh served hot, coffee is delicious, and all is well!
