I deliver Walmart orders with Spark and stopped by Sovereign Coffee, the barista treated me so kindly! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I’ve tried a lot of iced coffee, and theirs is honestly the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely keep coming back. Thank you for making my day better!

I really liked this place! I got a Mexican vanilla latte, iced, with oat milk and it was sooo good. Their coffee is really rich and flavorful. I also tried the strawberry latte and it as pretty good. The service was nice, it was very quiet, and super clean. I loved all the cute possum decorations and just the overall environment in general. There’s a lot of little snacks to buy and drinks to try, check it out!

I love this place! Their locations in Brownsville and Harlingen have great ambience, service, and coffee!

My only reason for withholding a 5-star review is because of the picture attached. I had heard from a friend that when they went to their Brownsville location, they found that the barista had pre-pulled espresso shots ready to make drinks.

I didn’t believe it, until I saw it for myself.

This was extremely off-putting knowing the high quality that sovereign holds themselves to. Having pre-made shots not only changes the coffee flavor, but it looks lazy.

I understand during high peak hours how it may be helpful, but this wasn’t one of those times. In my time spent there, about 20 minutes, those shots weren’t used.

My wife asked that our drinks would be made with freshly pulled shots, and the barista gladly pulled fresh espresso for us. (Great service!)

Still love this place! And I can still get great coffee at request, but if you want fresher tasting coffee, make sure to ask for a fresh shot to be pulled.👍

A small place for its grand taste!

Are you looking for the best espresso drinks in Brownsville? You probably want to visit these guys - their drinks are so good! Regardless of who is working they never fail to prepare a good latte. They also have cappuccinos, traditional macchiatos if you want that extra boost with less milk.

Vegetarian options: They have vegan pastries.
