Based on the reviews, Taquería la Bravo is a small place with big flavor. The atmosphere is very laid back, and the food is freshly made. They had different specials, with sopes topped with lettuce, tomato and white fresh cheese being delicious and really full. The flavor profile of the enchiladas, tacos, and tostadas was similar and very good. Some of the best tacos in Brownsville are found here, and the beans are made to perfection with various flavors. The papas and mexican enchiladas are also delicious. The prices are very reasonable, with two people eating for only $15. A drawback is that no one spoke English, and the restroom was nowhere in sight. The food is great and not that pricey.
