I almost want to gatekeep this restaurant, but it’s a real gem.

With its meager decor and straightforward advertising, it’s easy to see why some have slept on this place, including myself.

I thought that like the Siberia from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas the tostadas would only offer the chicken breast filling. Here the tostadas can come with deshebrada, and it’s SO much better.

But honestly, their harina tortillas are the real stars that make their food sing! My boyfriend ordered the tacos de deshebrada and I kept ripping off parts of his tortillas. Each taco is almost a footlong, so he could afford it. The tortillas are buttery, soft and warm on the inside but flaky on the outside.

The service is excellent, too. The staff is responsive, efficient and friendly.

This is on of those unassuming restaurants that blows you away. Can I recommend this 1,000%? Because I do.

Cashier needs to pay attention for other people trying to pay since she was on phone which I understand but she took a payment from another person who just skipped in front of me. All she said was "I was on the phone" but still managed to take his payment and not mine which I was already waiting to pay for my food! Bad cashiering that's why the 2 star!
