I've been going there since I was a kid in the early 90's. It holds a special place in my heart. We got there close to closing, and were greeted like we were family. Mind you, I hadn't eaten there in decades, and I'm so glad they're still going strong! The blackened drum was super fresh and tasty, so were the stuffed shrimp and fried oysters.

Great family legacy restaurant with quality seafood
I made a reservation for a party of 10 the weekend before our date. I was called to notify mid week that they weren’t going to be able to accommodate our reservation because of Lent. I spoke to the owner and he REFUSED to accommodate us, stating it was a mistake on their cashiers part and they were not willing to make it work us. Their food is great, their customer service is terrible .

The placed was overpowering with the Fabuloso scent. Too much shrimps on my order were small n kinda old tasting. Kept hearing staff to put less butter on tables. Chk fried chk was tasteless. Sorry not your usual best. Dissatisfied.
