This store is one of the better ones in Brownsville. Prices are not the cheapest but he quality is ok and the service is good. The lines at the check out though, OMG.- It's always a long wait. Waiting in line takes longer than the actual shopping. Fix it!!

This is by far the worst HEB Store I have ever been to. Had to wait in line that was backed up to where people could not pass because they had 9 express lanes open and only four regular lanes open. I complained to the manager and her excuse was that they had call ins and they didn't have enough baggers did not really make any sense to me as to why they had so many express lanes open won't be shopping at this HEB ever again

Been shopping here for over 14.years and am finding that they have stopped carrying my 'stuff '. Sure they are carrying their brand, but not what I'm used to getting. It's a real chore to have to go to Walmart just to get pretzels because they have quit carrying the Frito Lays brand. If they keep this up I'll have to change my grocery store, and that is something that I don't want to do.

Largest one in the area! Great agua fresca selection, large selection of meats,produce, specialty cheeses, and daily necessities. Beats walmart any day!

Best HEB in Brownsville. I can pretty much find most of the food I want. However, I wish the sushi was better. For some reason, the rice is hard.

- They have variety of veggie frozen food. - Good quality steaks, seafood, lamb, bison, etc. - Cheaper than el Globo and la Michoacana, you will find most of the same mexican products. - Fruits better flavor than Walmart. - Good and cheap local honey.
Surprisingly large selection of healthy food at reasonable prices. Put in a self-service register to save me some time, guys! Your lines are wayyyyy too long.

Construction finished....nice, wide aisles and more check out stands. Finally have located where things were moved. They placed employees in the aisles during construction to answer questions. I love the produce at HEB. Parking is still a problem. Often you drive down several lanes before you find a parking space. Love the grilled chicken they serve inside....with grilled onions and jalapenos. Sushi bar and fresh tortillas. Be prepared to walk.....it is HUGE.

HEB now becoming a Plus store is under construction and parking is limited for now since construction workers take the front parking spaces. It's just not a great time to shop for now unless you go at10:30 pm or 11:00 before closing.

It's close to home, it's got plenty of parky for that day before thanksgiving when every one is trying to buy a chicken and its got pretty good suchi. The price is low, and the lines are usually short.
