Had a great burrito and great coffee!! That salsa though šŸ˜‚ literally tasted like grounded up tomatoes and water. Green sauce was just as bad. It is unbelievable how terrible both salsas are. Get the burritos and buy salsa elsewhere šŸ˜‚

*How can I tell if an animal is really a service animal and not just a pet?
To determine if an animal is a service animal, you may ask two questions:

Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
You may not ask these questions if the need for the service animal is obvious. Examples include when a dog is guiding an individual who is blind or is pulling a person’s wheelchair. In addition:

You may not ask about the nature or extent of an individual’s disability
You may not require proof that the animal has been certified, trained or licensed as a service animal
You may not require the animal to wear an identifying vest or tag
You may not ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the task or work

I just wanted to first put this here for the business as I was asked incorrectly about my service animal-I really wasn't in the mood for a fight.

I chose this place because it has a big parking lot where I could park the large trailer I was hauling.
The building has a drive thru which seemed very efficient. It was very busy (black friday) but they took our orders quickly and our food and my drink came out pretty quickly. We both ordered breakfast burritos and got a green and red salsa- the green has a pickled flavor but no spice, the red has a little spice. They were pretty good mixed on my burrito, it added some flavor. I ordered a dulce de leche latte and it was pretty good.
The inside of the building is nice, it seems new and modern with some cute decor touches. The old firetruck is very neat. The prices are reasonable and the food was filling (the tortilla on the breakfast burrito was the thickest almost bread like tortilla that I've ever had)

Best burritos in town. Coffee is better than the big name chain coffee businesses.

I was told that the kitchen shuts down at 1:45pm.
So the 1 item ordered, was refused. Then she proceeded to give service to the vehicle behind me who ordered the same.
I will take my business to the restaurant across the street from now on.
Do better people! Try integrity out...

Homemade tortillas was the advertisement I saw when I first came to Brownwood 5 years ago. I was very skeptical as every business advertises as the best or ā€œhomemadeā€ and you arrive and it’s a disappointment. I decided to give it a try and I still remember the 1st bite I took in that parking lot because it was absolutely delicious !!

They have since moved to another location and I have come back from a 3 month European trip and all I could think of overseas right before I was coming back was that this would be my FIRST MEAL OFF THE PLANE!! And it was and the owner lady was the one that handed over my breakfast burrito. She had no idea I had been dreaming of that moment for months on the other side of the world.

This is true customer service. I drove up about 5 minutes before closing and she still took my order with a SMILE !!

Love this place!!

Common Grounds is one of my 3 top places to go in Brownwood. The people are the friendliest, the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable! I go once a week and sometimes twice. It's a winner!

It is great to see a quality small shop! I am not well versed in coffee, so my cold brew was not sweet enough but that is my fault. The breakfast migas were fantastic. I am not local to the area, but should I ever find myself back I will def return. The staff was very friendly as well.
