Prices were higher than expected, but when asking about possible cross contamination for allergens the waitress verified with kitchen first. Wish I had been able to try the fried fish as that looked wonderful but the high risk of shrimp being cooked close had me going for a different meal. And texas caviar is amazing
The fried shrimp and fries were extremely bitter. It felt like the restaurant was using the same used oil from previous day to fry food in. I was very disappointed. The peach cobbler was the best dish though.
Have enjoyed eating at the Cotton Patch for years. Every city I travel to, I look for one to eat at.
Laura waited on me today and has also in the past. She has a great smile and is always friendly to me and other customers.
She really seems to know her job.
Her excellent service alone makes me want to ask for one of her tables when I come to Brownwood.
