The fried shrimp and fries were extremely bitter. It felt like the restaurant was using the same used oil from previous day to fry food in. I was very disappointed. The peach cobbler was the best dish though.
Have enjoyed eating at the Cotton Patch for years. Every city I travel to, I look for one to eat at.
Laura waited on me today and has also in the past. She has a great smile and is always friendly to me and other customers.
She really seems to know her job.
Her excellent service alone makes me want to ask for one of her tables when I come to Brownwood.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch here today. I had the turkey dinner, and my wife had chicken fried steak. Everything was cooked to perfection, in fact the rolls had just come out of the oven.
Our waitress, Hailey, could write the book on serving. She was cheerful, knowledgeable of everything on the menu, and she checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. I noticed that she was that way with every table she was serving.
