To find a GOOD sushi restaurant in Texas, is like finding a diamond in a coal mine. Our meals have always been top quality at Katana. We try to go at least once a month. Weve had it as take away, but it's still better fresh. Can't wait for our next visit. Best Japanese food for hundreds of miles.
Took my husband here for lunch at 1pm on a Wednesday and we were immediately treated to sexually explicit "music" playing. A woman was rapping about her p&$&y and using the "N" word repeatedly. I was super embarrassed because I had suggested the place and he wanted to leave immediately. I convinced him to stay and eat because I was really hungry, but he will never want to go back. It is very disappointing for a place that has pretty good food to make the atmosphere so indecent. I hope management sees this and tries to do better in the future.

Awesome, place!!! Have eaten there 5 times now alway great food. The last time I set at sushi bar .The 2 chef were runnning crazy by did awesome job. Fresh product will go back next week.

Food was passably good and overpriced for the quantity. Certainly could be more seasoned.Service was passable at best. And when asking a question about an upcharge, the manager laughed in my face.Not a place I would return._____________The portion size was small for the price, and when I asked about the upcharge the manager laughed in my face. At hibachi restaurants, fried rice is part of the meal, here it was an upcharge. We misread the menu so were happy to pay the upcharge and it was no actually explained by an employer until I asked. The customer service issue was being laughed at when I asked what the charge was. Even the reply to my review was passable. What a joke.
Had the Rock's Roll... Twice in 2 days. Fluid blend of fresh flavors. Delicious.Definitely recommend the yellowtail sushi.Tried the takoyaki (octopus); it's wonderful.Miso was ok, clear soup great.Staff is friendly & attentive. Excellent service.Lively yet homey atmosphere.

I’ve ordered to-go from here a couple of times as the dining area is really very small and have been really impressed so far. The portion sizes are reasonable for the price and the food always has a better flavor to it than some of the other hibachi places I’ve been to.

Everything is attractive, flavorful and well prepared; but our parties tend to prefer the teriyaki dishes. I usually leave with something reading. If I enjoy a tremendous windfall someday, I might splurge on my fill of sushi; but the rolls look like a satisfactory preface thereto. The service is very attentive, too.
