The staff at Lucky Buffet are very sweet. The variety of food offered is amazing. My hubby & I tried a bit of just about everything. All was delicious. They have desserts also. Yummylicious!

I would say this is probably our favorite place to eat in town

They have a nice variety of choices. There’s no doubt it’s not the healthiest place to eat but if you’re not going often it’s something different for the taste buds. I’m happy to have this as a choice

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had. I will never, ever step foot in this place again. Overpriced, disgusting food.

This place was great it's kind of like a small nondescript place without much frills or anyth8ng from outside the building. I was riding by on my bicycle and saw the word buffet, and I just hoped it was Chinese, and it was. It wasn't super packed, but it wasn't slow either. The employees moved at a crisp pace that showed they meant business. They were friendly and accommodating. Five stars for the delicious Lucky Buffet!

Food was very unhealthy, bathed in grease, and (msg is probably part of the condiments). I would not recommend this place to either locals or visitors. You will walk out feeling bloated and nauseous. Restaurants need to be more conscious of the community's well-being.

I love chinese food. But this place is a no go. When i went today before i could take my first bite of my food it was cold. The dumplins were hard like theyve been out all day. Half way through my plate i started getting the start of a migraine. I havnt had one like todays in a long time. Im 100% sure they use msg its a trigger for my migraines. I really do not recommend this place, go to China cafe instead

How has the health department not shut this place down? The place is disgusting while all the employees are on their phones. The food looked like someone just opened up bags of frozen food from Walmart and set it out. When I asked it would have been 80 dollars for 4 buffets and drinks..... not even close to worth it.

Since these THIEVES refuse to listen, I'll bust their chops here.
This is yet another business that doesn't get Texas State Statutes 604A.002 and 604A.003, which states it is ILLEGAL to charge EXTRA for debit card purchases. They can offer a cash discount OFF POSTED PRICES, but CANNOT CHARGE EXTRA for DEBIT purchases. In Texas, DEBIT cards are EQUAL to cash.

I've explained this to them 3+ times in the last year, and still, they do what they want. The Texas AG WILL receive a formal complaint about them this time, as I'm sick of people getting into my pocket for an extra dollar here and there, due to THEIR CHOICE of who they run their transactions through. If they get charged for debit cards, just like credit, that's a THEM problem, not mine.
Honestly, $35 for 2 buffets and 2 glasses of tea is a bit much (and NO refill given despite my glass sitting empty for 20 mins on the table edge). For basically $40, I could have gone to Chili's, and next time, I WILL. After charging what they do, then then have the bawlz to hint at tips! For what? They do NOTHING but bring a drink to the table.

FWIW, their buffet is highly questionable, especially on hot hold temps. Most everything was cold before I could even take the first bite. This is my last trip here. They can fleece other Texans if they want, but MY back has been shorn here for the LAST TIME.

Read the statues for yourselves. At up to $500 PER transaction, you'd think they'd give a damn. They're even so stupid as to POST "they charge extra for non-cash payments."

I'm not letting this one go, folks... I've HAD IT with the extra charges on my DEBIT purchases.

Edit PS: we both got sick as dogs within 2 hrs. Thats a short lease on $18/person food. (Pics not included of THAT). 🤢🤮
Edit update: a couple of days later and we're both STILL having major "digestive issues". Neither of us have had such a reaction in years, even to high risk foods such as sushi.
Definitely won't be back.
