Wine Bars in Brownwood

“Are you kidding me! Who’d a thought this gem would be in Brownwood? The food was excellent (they make their own pasta and noodles). Their craft cocktails are great, and the gelato . . . seriously, tasty actual gelato right freakin here. I am amazed.“

“Traveling thru town with a friend this evening and just happened to find The Turtle for dinner. We were attracted to the adorable decor, then bowled over by the menu. The peppercorn steak had a wonderful crispy char and a sauce to die for. The grilled salmon with curry spices was delightful. Our server John was so helpful with our order and the eclectic list of wines by the glass. I wish I lived close enough to be a regular here, but will have to be satisfied with our luck at finding this unexpected treasure.“
