The German food und bier is amazing. I have gone here years ago and still the best German restaurant. I had the Jägerschnitzel with the mushroom gravy and an amazing bier. The Hofbrau Original Bier is the best and one heckuva thirst quencher on a heiß (hot) Texan day!

Showed up at 930 on a date night to close our evening and we were told the kitchen stopped serving. Employees were in the back sitting at the bar area and no one came to the front when we came in. Poor service and no desire to offer us a solution. No plans on visiting this place again.

We were searching for authentic German food when we found your restaurant…it was a charming night out. We had a waitress that was very accommodating. The food was delicious!…from the homemade sauerkraut.. spaetzle..to the German potato salad and schnitzel everything spoke to the authenticity of your food!…thank so much!

Extremely disappointing! We had heard such good things and used to live in Germany years ago. So I was really looking forward to eating here for my birthday. We came on a night when it was not even busy. We waited at least five minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we were waiting to be seated even though we could see staff walking around and they could see us. After finally being seated, the server walked by us multiple times but never acknowledged us. We waited at the table looking over the menu and talking for about 20 minutes before we decided to finally get up and leave because no server ever came…not to take a drink order, not even to say, “I’ll be right with you.”

For anyone interested in hosting a small get together, Texas A&M Graduation Parties especially, please consider Bavarian Brauhaus/Murphy's Law. The staff, especially Sergio, is exceptional and will take care of you. The food and drinks are well prepared and at a very reasonable price. Truly a great location in Downtown Bryan to host a graduation party if you are struggling to find venues for reasonable prices in Bryan/College Station. Can host up to 100+ if needed to! Give them a call!

Waited 45 minutes for a table while standing outside watching 3 tables sit empty and dirty. A group of 7 arrived after us and waited 5 minutes and was sat. Wouldn't recommend if you aren't a fan of waiting for poor service.

The kruts and schnitzel seems to have too much oil use in its cooking, which can cause one to wonder if the food has been around longer than 24 hours. Service was Awesome.
Good German comfort food and even better on Monday evenings when they have an all you can eat option. Nice variety of sauce options for schnitzel and imported German beers. Ambiance is also nice and reminiscent of a small country restaurant. Only complaint is that service can be slow at times during the busier parts of dinner service.
