“My wife and I ate here tonight 12/29/2025. We were greeted immediately upon entering and were seated quickly. Our waitress was Lauren who was at our table after being seated. She provided excellent service and is very knowledgeable of the menu, and made great recommendations for our meal. We both had the 10 ounce sirloin steaks that were grilled to perfection. Lauren checked on us routinely to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a great dinner !!!”

“We added brunch at the restaurant after our morning Harvest Experience at Messina Hof, and I’m so glad we did! After spending the morning harvesting and stomping grapes, it was the perfect way to finish the experience.

The brunch buffet had a great variety, but what made it especially memorable was that the dishes incorporated Messina Hof wines into the recipes. It was such a fun continuation of everything we had just learned about the vineyard and winemaking, and made the meal feel much more connected to the winery than a standard brunch.

There were plenty of options for the kids as well, so everyone found something they liked. For the adults, the sangria was a great last taste of a Messina Hof wine :) We also appreciated the to-go boxes if you wanted to get on your way and the option to sit more casually at the picnic tables outside (which we did).

We spent about 3.5 hours at Messina Hof altogether with the harvest, grape stomp and brunch, and never felt rushed.

With the ambience set by the @oldbryanmarketplace and an amazing menu and attentive staff, I could ask for nothing more! Love this place! Great wine selection and variety of entrees. Note: This town can’t easily wrap their minds around “real” tapas concept, so it should be known that they’ve positioned their authentically Spanish themed menu to accommodate Texans and their need for entrees… 💃🏻 ole’!”

“If you like Mexican food this is a little hidden gem. located within the finfeather grocery store towards the back. I promise you will not leave disappointed. I paid $4 for one breakfast mixed with two ingredients ,refried beans with chorizo and egg and boy was it stacked and full of sabor. I got full just off one and yes they do serve lunch and dinner either tacos or plates for either take out or dining in. The atmosphere here was great with no wait time either. It is wheelchair accessible with plenty of parking. handicap included.I recommend this little Jewel to all and also I chose the red salsa not too hot just perfect for my taco”

But I have to give credit where it’s due—this Black-owned BBQ spot absolutely exceeded my expectations. The meat was tender, flavorful, and smoked to perfection. Every bite was packed with authentic BBQ flavor, and you can tell they put love and pride into what they do. It’s not easy to impress me when it comes to barbecue, but they definitely did. The owners and staff are wonderful, the beer is cold, and they have the cleanest bathrooms you’ll find in a tavern! They are beer-only (but offer setups). Smoking is allowed inside Aso just make sure you wear clothes that can be easilythrown in the wash. Don't miss karaoke on Saturdays—it's so much fun and a great place to make new friends.”

“Eating at La Union is, I imagine, similar to dining in much of El Salvador. The space is very simple. The tables are cheap. The food is delicious. If traveling through B/CS, stop in for an authentic Salvadoran meal. If you've never had a pupusa, definitely get them. They are very tasty. Expect to hear a lot of Spanish being spoken around you, but it's okay if you don't. This restaurant is a real cultural treat.”

Being mid afternoon, we were one of three couples there...Our server Maria couldn't have been nicer...She continuously checked on us and we talked for about....Devided to splurge and we got the spinach dip which comes with tortilla chips, It was pretty good.....I also ordered some crawfish balls to try with my love for cajun food....They were OK but I couldn't taste crawfish very much...My wife ordered a 16 oz ribeye, medium well with a baked potato, fried okra...She finished everything but the potato...She was very happy with it all....I had there large Chicken Fried steak with white gravy, which took up most of the plate, fried okra, and grilled mixed vegetables.... The chicken fried steak was one of the best I've had...It was very large, not greasy, very tender, no grissle... The gravy was near perfect and they pair really well together....The mixed, grilled vegetables were perfect- broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, very tender, nicely seasoned, slight char. my other side was the fried okra which was excellent as well....Not greasy, coating was crunchy, nicely seasoned.....The helpings of all the sides were generous !!!!! We took home a pice of pecan pie and piece of coconut cream pie which were very good...Forgot to ask if they make them inhouse or not....We left with full, content tummies.... The steak prices appeared to be similar to Salt Grass- one our favorites...Look forward to coming back for more meals here.... I’ve tried all the food in different occasions and it’s really good! The taco/burrito section varies with meats and other things everyday so there’s usually something new to try every day! That’s already amazing! The chicken is indeed… “krispy” n “crunchy!” it’s full of flavor and the right size! In my opinion it’s the goldilocks of chicken! “I visited this Subway location today and ordered 2 subs, a 6 inch veggie delite and a footlong turkey sub. My turkey sub was made alright, a little too salty, but no big deal. However, my 6 inch sub for my fiancee was made incorrectly, which was extremely disappointing, especially considering the staff member had repeated the order back to me, which just confirms that he knows what he did wrong. The six inch was also strangely much smaller than usual.
As somebody who tips after their meal, don't expect me to leave a tip for poor service and an incorrect meal.
I also noticed a very anti-homeless sign on the door, which is extremely distasteful and heartless.
Aside from this, though, this Subway location is located in the heart of downtown Bryan. The interior is beautiful with an open design.”

Felt discouraged once I saw a long line & a girl behind the counter by herself, working the register & making customers orders. I stuck it out in line anyway. I was quite surprised how quickly the line moved. Once I made it up to the register I was surprised again. Even though it was busy & being left w/out help the young lady didn't let it overwhelm her. She was calm, cool, collected, & customer friendly. Keeping a good attitude, not letting the craziness phase her. I was impressed not only how nice she was, but how quickly & effortless she got everyones orders out to them. I was very pleased w/ the service, as well as my caramel macchiato. Even though she provided a positive experience, I would have liked to seen another employee behind the counter helping.”

“I don’t usually leave reviews for chain places, since most of them are not exceptional. That said, this is the best Starbucks location I’ve ever been to. When I walked in, I was greeted, they took my order immediately, and then handed me a free water without being asked. I got my drink quickly, sat down and connected to their Wi-Fi and did work for a few hours. During that time, the manager was walking around checking on customers, and frequently asked me if my coffee was still hot or if I needed anything. When I was packing up to leave, the manager approached me to ask if I knew about their free refill program. She went out of her way to tell me that I could get a free refill on my drink at any Starbucks location, and that I could even do iced instead of hot if I wanted to. I took her up on a free iced refill, and even got a “Thanks for hanging out with us today“ as I left. Overall, just a very friendly neighborhood Starbucks.”
