“This place is like having a meal in your grandma’s kitchen: everything homemade and delicious. The salsa arrives warm and flavorful. The green sauce is spicy, creamy, and addictive. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. Every meal I’ve had there has been absolutely wonderful.“

“What a surprise! Our Anniversary and were planning to go to Houston for dinner. Decided on Shipwreck’s new location! It did not disappoint! Boudin Egg Rolls a must! Diablo Shrimp Pasta! “Excellent food, I suggest the 5 Taquitos (only about $11); charro beans ✅ full flavor tacos ✅ excellent green sauce ✅. I just with their Barbacoa was on point. I will continue to go for lunch from time to time, and always suggest it when tacos are in question.“

“I've been lied to my whole life about LJS. This place has good quality food with more than fair prices! We had the fish, popcorn shrimp, regular shrimp, chicken, coleslaw, crab cakes, French fries, green beans, and hushpuppies with only the fries being slightly lackluster. The service was good, the lobby was clean, the music was good 🎵. Don't let people convince you this place is bad because holy cow it isn't. You also get to ring a bell if they did a good job which I just enjoy 😁“
