“My wife and I ate here tonight 12/29/2025. We were greeted immediately upon entering and were seated quickly. Our waitress was Lauren who was at our table after being seated. She provided excellent service and is very knowledgeable of the menu, and made great recommendations for our meal. We both had the 10 ounce sirloin steaks that were grilled to perfection. Lauren checked on us routinely to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a great dinner !!!“

“We stopped in earlier this week and HAD to come back a second time. Totally recommend the grilled cheese but everything was amazing. We frequented Maddens and Mad Taco and will continue to support Peter Madden and his gift as a chef. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!!!“

“Me and my friend and his family drive from Austin to visit some friends in college station / Bryan and as a recommendation from a local friend to try the best local food ( best restaurants in the city) so we visit the restaurants for lunch and we try different types of plates , all food was great 👍 specially 14oz beef and chicken and salad and the two sides, everything was delicious.“

“Listen. If you are in BCS and don’t eat here. It’s a crime. Seriously the best fried chicken I have had in the 35 years since my Great Grandmother passed. One bite and time fell away and I was a kid at Gma’s house. There is a reason it’s called soul food.“
