“Stopped by here for supper on our way to Cypress. The food & service were excellent. My husband got the large chicken fried steak, it was huge, basically 2 chicken fried steaks, he couldn't eat it all. I had the stuffed crab. Both of our meals were really good. If your a vegetarian they have several options listed on the menu. There is something for everyone. We will definitely be back next time we come this way.“
“Stayed at the nearby state park and stopped in for lunch. Very small place however, very big on taste. Ordered the lunch special and was very pleased with our club sandwiches, fries, and sweet tea. Best sandwich I have eaten in a long time. Price was very good as well. Will eat there next time we are staying in the park.“
“There menu is amazing. I’ve drive quite a few things there. When I was waiting for my order I realized a had a flat tire. Heather hooked up an portable air hose & got me on my way. I mean she went out of her way to help me & bonus the service & food was great. Go place to go!!!“

It and the fried okra (and I'm sure onion rings etc) are made from scratch, it's oh so yummy light batter, not greasy!The owner Elizabeth and her husband are very friendly.
