“We had not been to a Cheddar's in years having had a very disappointing experience the Last time we went. This time proved to be much better and will have us returning again. Food is was solid enough. The ladies really liked their grilled shrimp and pasta. My chicken. Fried chicken was ok, but I will try something else next time. Service was good and atmosphere did not intrude on nor enhance the experience, I am fine with that personally.“

“Got the Texas Smoker Potato and the my ma got the 3 piece Chicken tenders, naked with a side of cream gravy.
The Texas Smoker was hefty and had a good sauce to potato ratio. Even though it looks absolutely drenched, once you fork a bit of brisket, Colby Jack, rib tips, and potato it turns out perfect.
Be careful of the rib tips, they still have small pieces of cartilage running through them as you would expect.
The chicken strips reminded my ma of DQ strips from the early 2000's. She was plenty happy with it for the price.
